Secret tips to you child's success in school

I was invited to the school where my little Jonathan will be starting first grade next year. The school had a educator/phsychologist speak to the parents while our children were in another room working on projects to "get to know one another".

Now this woman had some pretty amazing tips that she said after years of experience in her field she had written down on 4 pages alone, the secrets to have your children succeed in school, and  she said these tips will especially make a difference in your child's life when staring first grade.

Many of the parents and myself were very surprised we thought we would be told the same old speech, and we were suddenly very quiet trying to remember every word that this women was sharing with us, so we could go right home and start implementing these "secrets tips", that would make a huge impact on our children's first experiences and success in school.

So, I really want to share  these tips with you. I myself practice some of them, but perhaps not as much as  I should, and there are some I haven't done till now!

First of all she said get your child to tell you everything! What  they did in school, what their day was like, and who they played with. The big question from almost all parents present was how do you get your kid to talk about these things? There was a concensus among us that our children when asked how kindergarden or school was, they just say okay, yea it was fun.

So here is the secret this woman revealed to us. Spend the next 3 days telling your kids little details about your day. She went on saying how children find boring everyday simple things that grown ups do as "fascinating", and to simply talk about anything that is of coarse not X rated to your child.

She said that by doing this  you child will begin telling you in detail everything that goes on with them in school. She said that you  are not only  teaching your child to express themselves when you share your daily life activities, but they themselves will have respect for the simple actions that they do in life, and will start paying attention to the things that they do in  their lives. Later in life these children will understand better that their life choices and actions have consequences.

Not only will you be talking to your child and strengthen the parent child  bond, but your child will be keeping you abreast with everything that is going on in school. And when you know what's going on, that is everything! If and when there is something that does go wrong or something that causes your child to feel unhappy about, you will be able to fix it right away! That is one of the secrets to having a happy child that succeeds in school, said this amazing educator.

Today I would like to share with you some of my secrets. How do I try to be a great mom and work from home, and make sure the household runs smoothly? Well one of my secrets is the way I cook.

Let me explain what I mean by this. First of all the most important thing for me is that my family should eat healthy , well balanced, and nutritional food. So I simply make sure that the food I prepare is all the above. But her's the thing I do not make fancy food, and I try not to spend more than 15 to 20 minutes in preperation. Okay so how do I manage that? It's simple I take a lot of short cuts. For example chicken is healthy, right? Well the quickest way to cook a chicken is to simply place it in a disposable pan , rub it with sweet paprika, grill seasoning and oil. Make sure it is covered with these three ingredients and then presto turn the oven on for 1 hour. After the chickenis well browned after 1 hour you can turn in over and have it cook for another 15 minutes. If you like a well grilled crunchy chicken you'll love this easy short cut!

Now, what can you prepare with this quick fix chicken? Well to make a well balanced meal we need a vegetable and a carb. I like making a quick pot of rice, and steam in another pot broccolli. How long does this dinner take to prepare together with a bowl of fresh salad? No more than 20 minutes of preperation time for the entire meal to be prepared. Remember cooking time does not ever have to be a problem, you do not have to be in the kitchen while something is cooking over a low fire. Just keep a timer on, so you don't burn your food. For instance the chicken which will cook for an hour in the oven, place your timer on, and go take care of other household work, or if the baby is sleeping work online to earn money. Cooking healthy meals does not have to be a big deal. In fact yummy and healthy ffosd can be accomplished in no time at all. I use a wok almost all the time. There are too many new things to learn for me to spend time rehashing my old stuff.Moving Forward...

The time I wasted making duplicate backups of old articles could have been better spent writing new articles and placing them elsewhere. I often wonder why so many talented writers spend so much time playing chess with their old articles by moving them from one site to another instead of using their talents to create more and better work. Don’t get me wrong, moving articles is definitely a strategy to take, but is it the wisest use of a writer’s time and talent?

As a writer I believe in trying new things and taking different paths. It’s been a couple of months since the WCP program closed and the Panda was released on the Internet. Prior to those two events, my daily earnings were averaging a little over $90 a day. When those events happened, my earnings dropped by about 50%.

Making Room for the Future

I’ve left the old articles with the old sites and have chosen to try something new. In the past few months I’ve been watching my residual income grow. A recent study found that most fathers (65 percent) believe, that moms and dads should equally share the responsibility of raising children."Balancing work and family is not just a woman's problem", said lead researcher Brad Harrington, Executive Director of the Boston College Center for work and family. "We see that fathers also need a family supportive work environment, when it comes to the Organization of work and family, and that has tangible benefits for their jobs and careers, and in turn to promote their companies."

I  do feel strongly about fathers sharing some of the responsibility of raising their children. Especially if a you find a job for mom from home, or start your own business you really do need the extra help. Don't get me wrong we as mothers are physically at home and so more of the responsibilities fall on us. But since we want to "have it all"-also have a job for mom and spend quality time with our family, in order to make it work we basically NEED HELP.

I personally have my husband do sometimes the little things that make all the difference. For instance give the baby a bath whenever he can, prepare dinner occassionally when I am exhausted or busy handeling something else. These little things sometimes make a big difference in my life anyways. So think about how your husband could make a big difference in your life by doing a few things once in a while.

Working Mom from Home-5 Great ideas

Do  you want to be a  working mom from home?More and more Moms  are trying to find ways to earn extra cash while at home caring for their children. I have shared many ways to work from home in the past, but today I am going to share some great job ideas that are suitable for a job for mom from home. 1. Pet Sitter – recently I went on a trip to a major city, where I saw several "pet resorts". I regretted that there were not any of them around here, but we probably could use a. What your children  wouldn't just love new animals running around the house?

If you already are good  at then you should consider opening an Etsy store or sell your homemade goods on Ebay. Schedule for Stay at home mom

A working mom from home must have a sensible schedule. If  a mother decides to work from the comforts of her home, and enjoy both quality time with her family and an income she must learn to juggle both properly. The only suceessful  way to be able to achieve the art of juggling is to have a schedule and to stick to it.

Mothers working from home have to decide before they start a business or take a job from home, the number of hours they are willing to dedicate to work. Having a job that occupies all your time at home defeats the purpose of mothers working from home. That is if you still want to keep the title "mother". The number of reasonable hours a mother can dedicate to work depends on the number of children she has to care for and their ages.

If your kids are older and they are in school, then you would have the  mornings to work. If you have an infant or a baby that still takes a 3-4 hour nap everyday, then dedicating 3 to 4 hours a day to work is sensible. If  you have a baby you should get the baby accustomed to a nap eveyday at an exact hour. you can easily get an infant on a schedule, in fact it's healthy for them. If your baby  has gotten use to sleeping for 3 hours straight,  that gives you 3 hours of uninterrupted quiet time to work. A stay at home mom schedule must state exactly baby's napping hours, so a working mom from home can use those hours as working hours and probably she will be the most productive during those hours.

It is important during these uninteruppted hours, where a mother can focus and concentrate, not to do other household tasks. Household chores and responsibilities can be done while the baby is awake. Do not waste your precious work time on other things either like phone calls to friends or supermarket shopping.

A schedule for  stay at home mom apart from including exact working hours, must also include household chores. Designate one day a week to really clean and take care of the house. By doing this the house will stay clean with just some simple tasks that have to be performed on a daily basis. In fact 30 minutes to 1 hour a day for upkeep, not including the kitchen and cooking should be suffice.

On the day that you designate as your cleaning the house day,  cooking more than usual can really lighten the burden during the rest of the week. You can easily cook and freeze certain dishes for other days that you plan on working. I strongly recommend a house cleaner if you can afford one.  But if you cannot afford one at this point, don't worry after you start working you will, and in the meantime you can accomplish everything if your schedule for stay at home mom is done correctly.

So how does a working mom from home also tackle other household duties?weather your  cooking, cleaning, or folding the laundry,  make these tasks fun with your baby or kids. For example a mother can sing,  talk, and play with her little baby  while  accomplishing household responsibilities. So what if it takes you longer, your baby will love the attention. Not to mention that your baby is learning that Mommy also works, and just can't sit and play with him or her all day long.

Create a corner for your baby to play in the kitchen which is removed from the dangerous part of the kitchen, such as stove, oven, ect. In this corner have a couple of draws just for your baby to play with. Have these draws full of  plastic bowls,  pots, plastic fun stuff and large plastic spoons. Your baby will feel like he is also cooking like mommy. This way you will be able to accomplish your cooking while baby is having fun.

Remember that baby can crawl around if you make your house and office fully baby proof.  If you have to tidy up the living room , again make sure he is interacting with you, play with him, and always make sure there are toys in every room in the house for your baby to play with. This will make your job easier wherever you have to clean.

And most importantly a working mom from home must have time to herself. Make sure to incorporate this personal time also into your schedule. Spend  a night out  with your friends, or go out with your husband to a romantic restraunt every once so often. A schedule for stay at home mom must not only be sensible it must also make a mother feel happy and content with her choice of staying home.

The maintenance is the problem here for mothers. You have to make sure that the maintenance of  your  business  requires  maximum 4 hours a day of your time. If you are looking for the best job for moms: be a great Mommy who spends quality time with her kids, and also being able to make an income, then blogging just might be for you. In my opinion Blogging is the best job for mom.

Yes, blogging does require one to have good writing skills. Or should I say your success will depend on the quality of your writing. I don't want to scare anyone here,  that is not my purpose. You do not have to be a "writer" or an established "author", but you have to be able to write well, and clear and in an easy way that most people can comprehend the point you want to get across.

3. Sign up with Homestead-you can create an online store in a day. You do not need to have HTLM knowledge. They make it so easy. They an inexpensive hosting company which is targeted to people that don't know how to build a website. Anyone can build a website with them or online store.

4.Sign up with ebay and Amazon-you can sell almost anything from these two. You choose the products you like and want to sell, and you display them on your site or online store. Every time you sell something online you get a commission. You do not have to worry about the shipping and handeling if you sell products from these two. That is why it is a suitable job for mom for stay at home moms.

5. You will have to have a paypal merchant account. It is easy to set up. If you are selling only amazon and ebay products you won't need a paypal account.

If however you make your own jewelry, or have a craft that you make. Creating your online store and selling your own crafts can be exstemely lucrative. People love handmade things.

For all you stay at home moms, when you start your perfect job for mom from home or new business, things can get a bit crazy. Especially at the beginning, because with most new businesses, you have to put more time in at the beginning. You are probably also trying out your schedule and tryng to juggle family and work properly.

You may feel exhausted from all of this at the start or frustrated because you simply find that stay at home moms can not accomplish a heavy full time work load. You have to share your time and divide it between the kids, the house, baby ect.

Your business will take off and will be succeessful mommy but you need patience. I think the best saying for stay at home moms who want to work from home is this " Rome wasn't built in a day". You have decided to stay at home, and to take care of your kids. This entails not always being able to accomplish what you set out to do when it comes to your work or business. Which is okay, if you understand that it is just a question of time. So it miht take longer than you expected. But please do not get frustrated, that is not the idea of us stay at home moms.

However, I strongly recommend for every business you start from home to get these tools, to save you thousands of hours, that will perhaps prevent you from getting frustrated, because you will see that with these tools you can accomplish so much in so little time.

How to create a Schedule for Yourself

If you are going to get the best of both worlds, also be able to work at home and build yourself a successful business and also take care of your children, you will have to create a schedual for yourself that works. Creating a schedule is not that difficult however there are some critical points before you plan your schedule, that I would like you to take into consideration.

First of all take the schedule very seriously, without it you will not be able to achieve your goals. If your goals require you to work a certain number of hours a day, then you must incorporate that into your busy schedule. Stay at home moms  have a lot to accomplish, but believe it or not it can all be done. I guess all mothers are super moms with just a little effort.

The most important skill for stay at home moms to posess is the skill to multi task. If you can listen to your children while you are folding clothes, or cook while you sing to your baby, then you got what it takes.

If you want to to be able to juggle both a job for mom at home and also take care of your kids and manage the household it is crucial for you to have a good schedule to work with. You must stick to it faithfully, otherwise it is impossible.

Lets say you want to be able to work on building your business from home or you have found that perfect job for mom, now you want to dedicate 3 hours a day to work. If  you have a baby you should get the baby accustomed to a nap eveyday at an exact hour. I place my one year old , little David in his crib exactly at 8:30 AM everyday. He has gotten use to sleeping for 3 hours straight.. That gives me 3 hours of uninterrupted quiet time to work. I can be my most productive during those hours.

You see according to this I have already on my schedule:

8:30-11:30 David Naps, I work.

It is important during this quiet time where I can focus and concentrate, not to do other household tasks, Household chores and responsibilities can be done while the baby is awake. I will explain how. Do not waste your precious work time on other things either like phone calls to friends or supermarket shopping.

Now about household chores, you must designate one day a week to really clean and take care of the house.  By doing this the house will stay clean with just some simple tasks that have to be perfrmed on a daily basis. In fact 30 minutes to 1 hour a day for upkeep, not including kitchen and cooking.

Stay at home moms usually take on most of the responsibilities of the house. Is that fair? To a certain degree yes, because if your spouse is physically out of the house for his work, and comes home late. He really doesn't have the opportunity to actually help out around the house except when he comes home and he 's hungry and exhausted. You can have him do a few tasks but I do not think it is fair to dump on him to much.

I also designate on my cleaning the house day cooking more than usual to help me have some food frozen for other days of the week where I find I hvae less time for cooking, My Fridays are my day, for straightening up the house. I strongly recommend a house cleaner if you can afford one. I have someone that helps me on Fridays which makes my work so much easier. But if you cannot afford one at this point, don't worry after you start working you will, and in the meantime you can accomplish everything if you scedule your life correctly.

When cooking, cleaning, or folding the laundry, I make these tasks fun with my baby. I sing, talk, and play with little David while I accomplish these household responsibilities. So what if it takes me longer, he loves the attention. And my baby is learning that Mommy also works, and just can't sit and play with him all day.

I have created a corner for David to play in the kitchen which is removed from the dangerous part of the kitchen, such as stove, oven, ect. In this corner he has 3 draws to play with that have plastic bowls, , 2 pots, plastic fun stuff and large plastic spoons. Yes, he copies Mommy when I cook. He is also cooking with his pretend plastic stuff. This way I can accomplish my cooking and also he has fun.

Baby can crawl around if you make your house and office fully baby proof.  if you have to tidy up the living room , again make sure he is interacting with you, play with hime, and always make sure there are toys in every room in the house for your baby to play with. This will make your job easier wherever you have to clean ect.

Make sure to leave some personal time in as well, like to meet with a friend for coffee, or to go shopping. Once so often a mom needs a break from her busy schedule. Here your husband can really help, by giving us an evening off. Maybe he can take the kids for pizza or ice-cream.

The most important thing is that stay at home moms do not get overwhelmed by all the things we feel we must accomplish in our schedule. Remember we are still only human. It would be great to accomplish everything all the time, but that is not realistic. If however you can accomplish most of your tasks and work that is in your schedule most of the time, that is great.
